This is the year of the single concert. No applications, no Grand Prix, no competition. Just gifted young musicians, world-class coaching, and one shared afternoon of chamber music that cuts straight to the heart of what this festival has always been about.
A tussenjaar is not a lesser year. It is a deliberate year. A pause between editions — to rethink, to rebuild, to try something different. The heart stays the same: the encounter between exceptional talent and the concentrated intensity of live performance. Everything else, carefully reconsidered.
